It is a pity one cannot award this work more than five stars. It is by far one of the best books I have ever read. The cover and the blurb hooked me, but I was not quite sure what to expect. What a pleasant surprise! African nature, wildlife, action, a tricky love triangle, all expertly woven together against the backdrop of a post-apocalyptic continent teetering on the edge of the abyss. The story is unique and transcends the limitations of genres. I have never read anything remotely like it. Very highly recommended.Product details

Great read about wild life protection
This sequel five in the Sam Jenkins trilogy series is an absolute must read to complete the series...or are we to expect a follow up from this talented author ?
A good read in the series.
Just like his other books it followed on the saga so well. I enjoyed this book from start to finish.

Leon Mare does it again! Another exciting Sam Jenkins adventure. Readers who follow the Sam Jenkins saga will not want to miss The Devolved, a worthy follow-up to Mr Mares previous book.
If one were not to know better one would think that they were reading a story written by John Wyndham the master of believeable futuristic story telling.A truly excellent story of the future written by a man who loves Africa.
